is a demonstration of Oersted’s Experiment which showed first time that the Lines of magnetism produced by a current flowing through a wire, is perpendicular to the direction of the current or the wire.

Projectsforschool decided to prove it for ourselves. Sure, we’ve studied this in the text books and the older kids do it with metal powder of substances like iron that have magnetic properties, but we also wanted to create a Science activity project for class 7th and 8th that will help them see it more simply.

In this kit, your young scientists will be able to demonstrate Oersted’s experiment by a DIY Science project kit of their own using compasses and a simple circuit. And trust us, the assembling is fun!

  • Card board base
  • Compass (small)
  • Cable wire
  • Duty battery
  • Fevicol
  • Beading
  • Connecting wire
  • Cello tape

You will also need scissors and an adult to help the child make the project.
