Simple electric generator – Science Project for kids is an application of Electromagnetism which is an amazing phenomenons that kids study in science.
ProjectsforSchool has designed this simple electric generator that can be used as an Electromagnetism science project for class 8th, 9th and 10th, as well as a DIY Science working model.
A simple electricity generator works to produce electricity by revolving a magnet in a closed circuit. This causes the electrons in the circuit to flow and generate current. If we connect a light bulb filament in this circuit, we can observe that this charge flow will eventually heat up the filament and cause the bulb to glow.
This model is a wonderfully simple kit to help your children use a Science experiment to demonstrate electromagnetism and the production of electricity as long as your magnets are dealt with the recommended precautions.
- Copper wire
- Iron nail
- Strong thread
- Ceramic magnet
- Card sheet (thicker)
- Cello tape
- Sand paper
You will also need scissors and an adult to help the child make the project.
